How do i install a car sun visor?

If you're looking for an easy way to provide a little extra shade and reduce glare for yourself and the passengers in your car, installing a car sun visor is a great solution. While visors come pre-installed in some vehicles, it's not difficult to install your own on most makes and models. With these simple instructions, you can easily install your own sun visor and enjoy the benefits of added protection from the sun in no time.

Before beginning any work, first read through all directions provided with the sun visor you purchased for your vehicle's make and model, and make sure you have everything necessary for installation.

Once you're ready to begin, open the hood of the car to access the header panel. This is where the visor will be installed. Depending on the car's model, using a screwdriver or drill you will either insert screws into pre-drilled holes on either end of your header panel or drill 4 pilot holes into this same area.

Next, take the two metal plates provided with your new sun visor and attach them to both ends of your header panel using screws that were included in the package as well as screwdriver or drill as needed. Secure these end pieces tightly so they hold your new visor firmly in place when installed.

Once both metal plates are secure, start sliding in one side of your new sun visor until it sits flush against both metal plates on either side at which point it should stay secured by itself until you need to take it out for any reason. To complete installation adjust the position if needed and make sure any gaps between the visor and metal plates are closed so everything looks neat when shut properly.

Once finished installing follow same instructions if another sun visor needs to be installed on other side of vehicle working similarly taking care not to over-tighten as too much pressure could tear off metal plates from inside of car's structure causing further damage besides installation issue itself when removing later on down line..

At last step ensure both ends of each newly installed sun visors are firmly pressed against their corresponding metal plates without leaving any noticeable gaps between them otherwise most likely will cause potential water infiltration with passing rains or inside cold weather showers leading future headliner damage due low temperatures allowing condensation accumulate over time inside inner panels thus causing mildewing smell around passenger compartment..
